Title of Book The Butterfly Lion Author Michael Morpurgo Genre Children story Main Characters Bertie,Millie,The White Prince Setting Timbavati in Africa,England,France Summary The story is about a boy that was born in Timbavati in South Africa and the boy was not aloud out of his house,because he lived on a game farm where there were wild animals out side the house and every day he saw a white lion and a white lion cub at the dam,then one day his father saw the white lion eat his cattle then shot the white lion with a gun and luckily the cub got away and Bertie was crying then one day he saved the white lion from a pack of hyenas tried to kill the white lion then he brought it into his house they had a lot  of fun with each other but he kept on hurting people so they  had to sell the white lion to a circus but the boy was crying then one day they took the white lion to the wild but then the circus people found the white lion and took it and called the white lion

OUR VISIT TO SINAI ACADEMY

OUR VISIT TO SINAI ACADEMY Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. It was a very fun and interesting outing.When  we got there we went to the synagogue, the boys had to sit on the one side and the girls on the other side we couldn't look at the girls.There was a Teacher telling us about their religion like the Torah there Jewish language,Israel and the ram's horn.The boys had to where a thing on their heads called the kippah.The teacher was reading to us important praying, The book instead of you reading from the front to the back  they read from back to front.After going to the synagogue we went to the senior primary campus ,they were showing us their traditions like the Shabbat,the challah bread,grape Juice and the rams horn.The teacher let us look at the ark and scrolls where they write ,we had to give the ark a kiss,because it was a big part of their tradition.We weren't aloud to touch the rabbi.It was very interesting what they told us what they bel

The Grade 4 Camp

Last week we were on camp.We went to Giraffe House before the campsite we saw a snake that was white and yellow that was venom-is.  Giraffe House was very fun, because thee were a lot of animals.The bus was very fiance and comfortable but it was a long drive. The spider looked so cool  and it was venom-is. The Python was very long and we saw its home and it was underground. A tarantula is the begast spider in the world and it doesn't attack with webs,it attacks with its arms.I like a giraffe, because they nice and tall, they use there feet to defend themselves against predators.The thing I liked about the llama was that they looked and are very good survivors. The man told us at Giraffe House that ostriches, is they can stay at 70km an hour for 30 minutes.The zebra was so cool, because they all have different stripes.
